This small structure was used as a hog house. It has been extensively repaired, so that little of the original construction can be recognized, but at the front corners at ground level, typical cobblestone construction can be recognized. Stones are fairly large and are irregular. They are set in mortar with definite horizontal strips. Between the stones, the mortar extends simply between the upper and lower horizontals. A unique cobblestone building made as a hog shed with ground level exits, drain holes, etc. Now used as a storage shed. Robert W. Frasch June 1964.

[The structure] was not cobblestone construction and secondly it collapsed two years ago during the winter. Richard Palmer email 9/30/2019. Editor's Note: This is an opinion that the structure is not cobblestone. This primitive, rough, practical, out building structure does exhibit some of the traits of authentic cobblestone construction. See photograph Jun-11 Winter Hog House Sen-16 3 below. There is a wide range of cobblestone construction and use of available materials, some of which can noticeably vary in the same structure.
